I've never been really good at pacing myself
, always thought I could do more than I actually should.
My new motto is: Saving some energy for later.
I've been better at taking more breaks and actually getting more done. Each day is a new day and we all know how our symptoms can change. Being aware of how much we are doing is important. We actually have to think about
it instead of throwing all caution to the wind.
Before any of my conditions, I had a tendency to overdo in everything I did. It took me a long time to reach out and ask for help if I needed it. I now know that asking for help is a sign of strength. I'm always trying to find the right balance. Just can't push through like I once did and I'm OK with that. Learning to let some things go and stop sweating the small stuff has helped me.
Taking time for family and friends...and definitely having fun keeps me happy.
Sending gentle hugs and healing vibes, my friends
Hugs, Robin
