Racing heart and tremor

Does anyone else get a racing heartbeat (mine is often 90 -100) and I am already on Beta Blockers!

Ive also started to get what feels like a tremor or tremble in my chest...

Seen a neurologist, he thinks its all normal...waiting on an MRI result, so shall see if its a neurological problem. I just wanted to see if people thought this was part of fibro or anxiety perhaps??

There was a time when I had tremor feelings in my chest. I found out that my medications were the problem. I was taking Tramadol and an anti-depressant which was causing me to have Serotonin Syndrome. Once I went of the Tramadol, I didn't have any more problems. I agree with couchtater that you should see a heart doctor if you haven't already.

I have tremors in my head and legs.  Started about a year ago but has gotten worse lately.  It does feel like my heart is racing and my heart beating inside my head.  I am now on a beta blocker which has caused me to gain 11 lbs in less than a month without a change in diet.  I am seeing a physical therapist currently to work on the arthritis in my neck. It is helping the neck pain and stiffness but not the internal shaking inside my head.  My new regiment is upping the magnesium dosage, added B-complex vitamins and lots of deep breathing and positive self talk.  When I wake up in the morning the internal head tremor is so bad and I have found if I eat some protein it calms things down.  Good luck finding out what is causing your tremors.

Hi all - Haven't seen a heart doctor, but have had to wear a 24 hour heart monitor, I get the results in about a week. Perhaps this will tell me more. I will keep you updated

Don't be surprise if it's normal. It seems many of us suffer with high heart rate. They could never figure out why mine ran so fast. I was given meds to slow my heart down and it worked. They were not too worried. I just stay away from meds that trigger it. Things like sudifed or vitamin b -12 and etc.
