Brain Scan results--now had Spinal Tap

I had a brain scan a few weeks ago and it shows some white spots. Could these be harmless?? Both of my doctors ,the Rheumy & Neuro do not think it means MS. But they don't know what else it could be.

The Neuro thought it could be CNS-Lupus, the Rheumy thought it m/b from Polio I had as a child.

I just had a Spinal Tap done and this should give them more answers. I really hope that this is not MS. But why would the Radiologist say on the Brain S. report that it showed w/s like MS. Just worrying here, HELP!

Once upon a time there were doctors who put dx without any scans, lab test etc. Now, even with the more precise electronic technology they leave the patients wondering what`s going on with them.
Poor patients search in google and become experts on medicine. :)))

Most probably it`s nothing, a harmless condition and you don`t need to worry. I was in similar situation several years ago with ct findings which doctors could`n say what it was. Three months later my films were clean and i still don`t know what it was.
