The problem with the UK study is that if you 'treat' the thyroid regardless of its condition, you actually increase their overall anxiety which will lead to a flare. I would like to hear more from this group's patients.

If its the thyroid, why do members report that their fibro started with a stressful or traumatic incident? As some responses to the article said, they have been on thyroid medication for years and still have the pain of fibro.

I'm glad that they are searching for answers But they are stating this as fact and I don't think it's been proven yet. We'll keep and eye out.
