This morning I started a thread entilted.... Thankful for my fibro family...you bet I am!

The problem is I posted it on the Lupus forum. I just learned of my mistake. I'm an ocasional poster there sometimes, but consider this forum to be my home base. I know you are not supposed to double up the same thread on different forums. My sentiments in the post came from my heart, and I guess I don't telling the lupies how great all you fibromites are.

I loved your post and am putting it here also....below.  So what if it's a duplicate post.  Family members do get away with things occasionally.  turn   We love getting posts like this.

I'm lucky to have a pretty good support system in my life. No matter how much support you may have, only someone who is living with chronic pain and fatigue really understands. It is comforting when you know you are not alone. I've learned so much from other's experiences. I also learned that when I share my experience, I'm helping myself in the process.

After being on this forum for over four years, I've gained more knowledge and the quality of my life is higher in spite of added conditions. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for being here, sharing with others. This forum is truly a family. Happy Thanksgiving my friends.

Thank The Lord for the blessing we have, not for what we don't.
I am new to this site . Just learning my way around.

My fibro is not accepted, I will ignore it for now. The Holidays and friends and family makes a great distraction. Volunteering for the homeless a passion we find important this time of year.

Anyone else have a charity to give priority too, for the Holidays?

We have so much more to be thankful for....

What a beautiful sincere post! Although I am new here I really am thankful for all of you. I am so glad to have found this forum.

P.s. I do have to admit, I giggled when I read you mistakenly put a Fibro message on the Lupus board :) Fibro fog maybe... Maybe just us fibromites can appreciate the irony!

Oh without a doubt that fog can be wonderful for doing things wrong.
Like when I called one of my doctors to confirm an appointment I had already gone to...and then remembered the upcoming appointment was actually at another office :/ DUH.
Love what fog can do for us..and LOVE how we are the only people who can be amused by fog, and have it not related to weather...when I tell hubby it's foggy today, he has to look out window to see if I mean me or the weather. lol
