My NP tried to ween me off pain meds to see if Neurotin would help without norcodics but today was first day on the lowest dose and pin went out the roof. Pain scale level 10 so she is called in stronger. Waiting on rheumatologist appt. to see if she can help. I am worn out and tired of the bed being the only place I can go for relief

Tylenol, gabapentin, tramadol, and muscle rubs.
I'm trying out something called Australia Dream. It seems to work okay on sore spots.

Fent patch, perc, and soon to be Lyrica. I am hopeful that Lyrica can help. I hate that I am taking such strong meds and they still don't work on bad days.

Venflaxine, meloxicam and hydromorphone. I have also found that lambs skin and wool help to relieve pain.

Couchtater, I use Australian Dream too. It does work and hardly has any smell to it. I love it...
I take narcotics for pain relief also. It helps. My pain has gone down from a 4-5 (constant) to a 2-3. I am very happy for that.
Hugs...

I take subutex or buprenorphine for pain. It has been a life savor or me. I have been on them for 4 years, I would never go back to heavy narcotics. It's still considered a synethic narcotics.

I take tramadol during the day, half a hydrocodone after dinner, and a muscle relaxer at bedtime.
I use exercise as pain relief.
