such a bad day

Just need to vent today was such a bad day. Pain was very high today. I was woken up by my dog jumping on my legs causing bad pain to start off and the pain got worse through the day. I am now unable to walk the pain is so bad. My pain meds are hardly touching this pain. My boss kicked me out of work at 2 today, cause my pain was to bad. So i was able to sit at home with my heating blanket and tablet and worked from home. I hope this is not a start of a bad flare up.

I know we all go through pain i just needed a vent this pain sucks..

I too, hope it is not the beginning of a flare. That was great of your boss to see that you needed to go home and sent you home. My job would never do that. What I have learned through years of pain ( multiple surgeries etc) it is much harder to get the pain under control once it is already advanced. I am not saying take pain meds if you don't need them, but when you can feel the pain getting worse try and control it right away. Playing catch up is a loosing battle most of the time.

This is a great place to vent. We can all understand the frustration Fibro can cause, so keep venting :)

Yes my workplace is awesome we all understand that we work because we need money but our health and family is more important. My boss understands that sometimes its better for me to work from home if i'm in pain if I am able to.

I will have to try taking pain meds when I feel pain coming on worse then my everyday pain. Glad I found a place to vent, get support and support others.

Hope your pain subsides...sometimes a long soak in a hot bath helps. Relax and do something you really enjoy, you deserve it and it will help distract your pain. Wishing you a better tomorrow :)

Hope your pain is better today. I hate when days start out like that. I agree with crazykitty, taking a hot bath really does help.

I hope things are a lot better today. Yes, it really stinks when things start out badly first thing in the morning.

We can all relate. Hang in there, and I hope it's a huge improvement today.

I surely hope you are better today. It certainly does not take much to gives us pain, carrying a 5 pound bag of potatoes or pushing a grocery cart half full can flare me. I have FM for 31 years and it never gets better only worse I surely hope your pain does not.
