fibro and bowel/anxiety

I am not sure I understand. Are you talking about IBS? Diarrhea? Constipation? Urgency? Don't be afraid of hurting our tender sensibilities; Spell it out.

I have both Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns Disease. I was on a maintenance drug for UC, which managed it, mostly. Then, my symptoms got seriously worse and stayed worse. Added nausea and vomiting, far more pain, and extremely loose stools, pretty continuously. On my next colonoscopy, my GI added Crohns to the mix.

I will say that when my IBDs are flaring, I have far-less energy than normal. Which is bad, of course, since fatigue is a big problem for me.

Some of us have bowel and anxiety issues but not all of us. These issues can go hand in hand with fibro but aren't caused by fibro. You can get the best info on IBS on our IBS forum on HealingWell.
