Dose anyone have polymyalgia here. I would like to know more about
it as I was diagnosis with it 7weeks ago ?

I gave your thread a title, you will get more responses that way.
Polymyalgia means "many" muscular pain... It is a lot like fibromyalgia. My sister was dx with that. To me they are the same... But I am sure that there are some differences.
I think coming here will be good for you. Do check out the first thread on the forum called "fibro 101". It is very interesting and has a lot of information that I think you could use.

The difference between polymyalgia and fibro is that it has an inflammatory process and fibro does not. It is usually treated with NSAIDS or prednisone. Wishing you good pain relief.
