longevityfirst,
Yes, I was injecting Vitamin B12 for about 7-8 years. I was told by family member that there's also Vitamin B12 that will dissolve on tongue. I asked my Dr. and he said there was but.... Insurance won't cover it although with price of needles & B12, it wouldv'e been cheaper.
I did get some relief at first but, after using for so long, I think my body got accustomed to it and got tired of sticking myself with the needles.
I think this is only 1 of many things that'll help but hopefully one day, they'll figure out what causes it and hopefully in our time have a cure. The only problem I've seemed to see though is: so many different symptoms and some get this & that & others that & this.
If it helps your mother, keep doing it for as long as she can stand getting poked.
You might also want to check with Dr. to see if the B12 that dissolves on tongue is covered by Ins. and possibly, she could do that as opposed to the needle.
I'm really glad you posted this, I'm going to check with my Dr. to see if maybe now the dissolvable is covered by my Ins.
