Antidepressant and Muscle Relaxer?

Hi
I am going to see the osteopath today and wondered if it is a good idea to ask him about a muscle relaxer for pain...Do any of you take one with antidepressants?

I take 2 antidepressants with Baclofen, a muscle relaxer. Works pretty well. Still have achiness but don't wake up feeling like a sack of wet sand.

I take Cymbalta daily which is considered an antidepressant and only when I'm hurting bad do I take a muscle relaxer at night. Muscle relaxers make me dizzy and/or put me to sleep so that's why I will not take during the day but, everyone's body is different to different meds.

I have taken antidepressants and muscle relaxers at the same time also. No problem with it.

No problem. Honestly, the muscle relaxer has been the best medication for me. I felt so much better in the mornings after I started it.

Yes, I just started taking a muscle relaxer with antidepressent. I can only take it at night due to being so drousy. It sure helps you sleep better.
