I've been told that I probably have Fibromyalgia. I want to try to see if a Magnesium Malate might help the symptoms, but I'm having trouble finding the best brand and dosage. The research I've done tells me that an adult woman should have only between 280mg-320mg of magnesium Malate a day. Am I wrong about this? I just don't want a toxic amount in my body. Also, I've read that the most effective form of magnesium malate is chelated (for better absorption). I haven't been able to find one that is chelated.
My first question is what dosage of magnesium malate is best for a 30-40 year old woman for fibromyalgia and magnesium deficiency.
Second question is, what brand of magnesium malate is the Best(Natures Made, Doctors Best, Nature's Bounty, etc.) I'll have to order this online and don't want to have to throw the stuff away if it's no good.
Third, is Magnesium malate what I need to be concentrating on? Would I be better off getting a separate bottle of chelated magnesium and another bottle of malic acid?
Thanks for the help
