This is probably a long shot, but has anyone else had issues with recurring mesenteric adenitis? After another ER visit yesterday with gallbladder-like symptoms I was diagnosed with mesenteric adenitis. This is the second time I've had it in a year. Apparently it's pretty rare for adults to get it. Since we know whatever causing it is not bacterial (bloods and urine are normal) it's either viral or autoimmune. I'm leaning toward autoimmune because aside from the two formal diagnoses, I've had this particular set of symptoms well over a dozen times in the last three years to varying degrees. They're not completely ruling out gallbladder issues. I was instructed to contact my doc about a HIDA scan next week (which I will do), but because the M.A. has been confirmed twice and since any gallbladder issue apparently isn't being caused by bacteria then the M.A. still needs to be dealt with. Thanks!
