Pushed too hard , paying for it !

We had a lot of celebrating this weekend..and i had pushed way hard all week getting ready and having folks over, overnight guests....

It was soooo fun but wow...i hit my wall...by the time everyone left i was about in fetal position...so today i crashed, slept in ...had amazing left overs .

Us girls all went for pedicures, my feet are so happy after..my hubby actually goes for pedicures more often , than i will take the time for it..

So tomorrow i will try to work back into more of a routine. And spend some extra time on the floor stretching these tired muscles from head to toe.

I sure know that feeling. But look at all you did! That's great and you obviously have some wonderful memories so it kind of makes it all worthwhile. The memories you will have the rest if your life but the extra pain will go away.

I really pace myself in these types of situations. I used to be one who would try to do everything as close to the arrival of guests so things would be freshly done. Well, I found out that's not possible with fibro. My daughter and her boyfriend are coming in 2 1/2 weeks. I've already cleaned the lanai furniture, had the deck pressure washed, mopped all my tile on Saturday, and touched up spots on the carpeting with my steam cleaner yesterday. I also washed the bedding and made up the beds so that is done too. Today I'll be planning out my menus and making my shopping list for their visit and will buy items this week that aren't perishable. By doing the harder stuff early, it gives my body time to recuperate and I will only have to dust and vacuum right before they come. This allows me to to be able to sit back, enjoy my company, and not be exhausted. My days of procrastinating are over. smilewinkgrin

I am happy you had such a great time plus yummy leftovers.

Too bad you have to pay for it, but it sure sounds like you had fun, Lj! :)

Agreed look at all the fun you had, soooooo worth it!! Wishing you a speedy return to YOUR normal.
