This NOVA special entitled the River of No Return chronicles the year-long hike of two newlyweds in the wilderness.

What makes it compelling to me is that Bjornen has RA, and still went on this great adventure. Yes, she hurt, a lot. She was cold, cranky, couldn't move properly. Hiked, slept on the ground, no electricity...

But she did it, and survived. We need to remember that.

Great to be inspired! And I'm sure we here can all relate to toughing it out--but making it through, and realizing it sure isn't easy; but what an accomplishment. I hope she later enjoyed a nice warm bath and better sleep!
