Well the cold snap and the rain has decided to trigger a nasty flare for me. My entire back is feeling like someone is beating me with a bat with spikes. The slightest move causes me a shock of pain that makes me jump. The jumping causes a shock of pain etc....etc... skull
I tried to laugh awhile ago and it was pure agony. I can barely walk because it's sending siactica pains down both legs. smhair

If it don't calm down soon I will have to go to the doctor for something stronger than my tramadol. cry

Ouch!! I hope it's better soon, Joy. This nasty cold air sure doesn't help at all.

My back seems to be 'the' target the last few weeks. My heating pad is never far away. Last night I actually remembered to turn it on and put it in bed before I got in. It heated up the area for a few minutes, then I turned it off. Felt heavenly!

I've never experienced sciatica pain, but my step-M-I-L has it and I know it's miserable. Have you tried anything else for relief? Doing a quick search on 'help for sciatica,' a few ideas pop up. I wonder, though, if it's wise to attempt any exercise or such until you see a doctor?

Hoping you get some relief soon!!!

I have arthritis in my lower back so I have to be extra careful with certain exercises. The pain seems to spread around my lower ribs too.

I feel for you, since Sciatica is my constant companion. That's not pain that's easily ignored.

Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Can you take muscle relaxers. I know there are meds you can't take. I have ankylosing spondylitis, which is like rheumatoid arthritis of the spine, along with sacroiliitis and at one time almost couldn't walk. The muscle relaxer given to me took so much of that away...coupled with ibuprofen.

I do hope you get relief soon. That is terrible pain you are dealing with.

Hope you are better tomorrow, we have a cold snap that has me feeling very achy...looking forward to tomorrow off, my body is saying it needs more rest than it got this week
