With my first-born, I only had morning sickness (very, very mild) twice, not even vomiting--just nausea. This baby was over 9 lbs., so yes, labor was painful, and I came close to a Caesarean birth, but another doctor came and assisted with the birth, using forceps. Other than being in labor for several hours (anyone who has given birth knows about
the back pain, etc.) it wasn't an unusual pregnancy, labor, or birth.
Sadly, I lost a baby in a miscarriage with my next pregnancy. I just had the feeling something just wasn't right, but I didn't know what. The baby died at between 8 and 10 weeks. I had already bought a few baby clothes and we were so excited to be pregnant. This was a very devastating loss.
With my youngest, I had no nausea or morning sickness at all. But, I began bleeding at about
4 months, and yes, I was scared it was another miscarriage. Happily, though, things turned around. Baby was fine! :) Labor was fast and it wasn't as painful as the first time. Delivery was much easier, too.
The only 'glitch' was that with both babies, I had very severe tearing--to the point where a gyn doctor suggested I may want plastic surgery(!) But I just did lots of Kegal exercises (still do, just for 'maintenance.')
(BTW: My fibro symptoms started (though mildly, back then) a few years before my second pregnancy.)
