Returning from Hawaii

Wow, what a trip it was in Kona Hawaii! It was so warm and each day was full sunshine. It was 86 degrees each day and I love it! We had an ocean front room and at night I left the windows open to listen to the waves. We were so close to the beach. I saw several sea turtles and beautiful tropical fish. I got brave and snorkled for the first time. I was so happy I tried because I got to swim with the sea turtles and tropical fish. It didn't take long to catch on how to do it. We were on the island where the active volcano is and it was neat to see at night. We went up to the mountains to see the massive stars at night. We were so close to them. This is were they put the best telescopes to see the planets. The flowers were incredible and the fresh fruit especially the pinapple.

I walked and swim so much and I never got sick. At night I had to go to bed by 9pm, but I was up early because I could hear the waves rolling in. I was amazed how well I did on the trip. It amazes me how well I feel on the trip. I guess my mind is off myself. I came back to a 68 degree temperature change. I didn't want to leave because it was so beautiful and warm. Swimming at night was great too! It didn't feel like Xmas there. I met so many people from all parts of the world there. I got the best tan ever. Time to put up my shorts and bring out the long johns. Lol

I'm so glad you had a wonderful time and I'm also glad you tried snorkeling. Just look at all the things you were able to do on this vacation because you tried! The warmth and all the movement helped you a lot, too.

It's not only time to put up your shorts but also time to start saving for your next trip to Hawaii...or Florida!

Wow, I'm glad to hear that Hawaii met all your expectations, and then some. I know you've been anticipating this trip for a long time.

I always feel better at sea level, and in warmer temps.

And you'll have those memories forever....they can't take that away from you! ;)
