I took my first Cymbalta 30mg this morning. Now sick to my stomach. Not going to try that again. Took me since Wednesday to get the guts to try this new med and didn't go well.

I'd say try it with food next time (or without food if you did eat). Sometimes that makes a big difference. I took Cymbalta for probably 6 months, I honestly can't say how much it helped. I know in the end I stopped taking it because side effects started appearing.

Thanks Julie. I had gastric bypass 12 years ago and docs struggle with prescribing for me. No one knows exactly how much meds I absorb. I took it on empty stomach with armor thyroid meds.

I don't blame you because I had horrible reaction with first and second dose. Usually your body knows if it's not going to work well for you. I take remron for antidepressent. It's old but works well especially for sleep.

ak angel, I have to ask: are you in Alaska? I lived there for seven years, love it dearly.

I thought I'd heard of all of 'em, but not remron. Can you tell us more about it?

I am not thrilled with Cymbalta, even on a low dosage. Can't tell that it's doing much good, and it doesn't seem worth the side effects.....
