Good Morning Everyone,
I have Deg disk, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, thyroid disease, anemia, sciatica and nerve damage from accident. I have had 2 spinal surgeries and have a Medtronic stem placed. I have lived with Chronic pain for 6 years solid and off and on 4 years prior to the accident in 2009.
My real question is I have been increasing different meds lately due to a neck flare and it has caused me to have physio again and wear a neck brace "cone of shame" as I call it :) the pain in quite debilitating and I cannot move my head. but I am trying my best.
but I just got a email from my doc saying they need to get my meds under control that they need to work more effectively and need a better "HALF LIFE"
im scared my pain will get so bad that meds don't work, its increased, I exercise ive changed my diet ive lost 25-30 lbs in past year 1/2 and I have gotten a less crazy job.
I am trying to make living with illness a bit easier to deal with but I keep getting setbacks, I keep second guessing myself "am I trying hard enough" "am I the reason this flare happened" "why am I 28 and suffering like this" " are they going to put me on morphine again, that was awful"
I am thinking why did I get the stem anyway, is it really helping anymore, I was doing so good before in 2011 but now I am going downhill FAST in the past 4 years.
