Hi so I would like to know if anyone diagnosed with fibro gets some kind of elevated inflammation?

Hello. I find it strange that some people I have talked to that have fibro have elevated inflammation markers but yet the dr won't diagnose anything else only fibro and I'm one of those pts. I think is strange that I'm living everyday life know that I have some elevated inflammation and my dr is saying that there is nothing I can do about. And she is suppose to be the best rheumatologist in the South Bay Smh

My fibromyalgia diagnosis came after I was diagnosed with lupus.

If you feel your doctor is doing you wrong go to another one. You hired them to treat you. If they are not doing the job, find someone who will.

Hi jas,

Do they not want to give anti-inflammatories? Its not great to be on them long term ...but even though my bloodwork does not show high...we tried it and i can barely move without taking it..

Last time he discussed upping the dose...iwent on fish oil and tumeric to try to lower the pain rather than more of the meds..

Getting some sunshine also makes me feel better.

Yes I started tumeric it helps a lot and your right a little sunshine helps ... And one thing I want to say is I do not have ra or lupus... So I do think that low grade inflammation really does play a roll in fibromyalgia
