Grrrr. I have been diagnosed with fibro since 2004, and have learned to manage as well as I can. Good days and bad days, but I have not let this condition be an excuse for not doing something I want to do. I do not know if I am stubborn or just not too bright.
I was diagnosed with enteropathic arthritis about 4 years ago, due to my UC/Crohns. It's when the inflammation from the IBD hits the joints (knees, ankles, wrists, shoulders, elbows, spine.) My ankles have always ached and so this new diagnosis made sense. For a while, my rheumie had me on anti-inflammatories but even with precautions, they caused an ulcer to flare in the intestine. So, I had to go back to alternate painkillers which were less effective.
Recently, I have been having BIG pain in my elbows and wrists, for no apparent reason. My left arm is mostly affected, just the wrist and the elbow. My ankles are throbbing and so are my knees. I have really noticed a problem in the past month. Grrrr.
This is just me whining,BTW. I am already doing what I can to minimize the aches. I just hurt tonight.
