After suffering from increasing pain in my lower back for a long time I decided to have it checked. I went to an ortho doctor who tested me out and looked at some XRays. The doc decided that I needed cortozone sthots in my sacro joints in both hips. Last Thurs I arranged for a ride back and forth to the hospital, took a sick day off and went in at the appt. time. After sitting in the waiting area for an hour, they called me into the room where I prepared for the shots. Then, about
a half hour later, the shot doc came in and said that he won't give me the shots until I've had an MRI done. Anyway, to make a long story longer, I waited until yesterday to hear back from my ortho doc about
an MRI appt. Finally I called her office, an RN called me back and said that they are arranging for the MRI and afterwards she is referring me to a neurologist. And so it goes...round and round.
I'm sure the majority of us out here have had this type of experience, or worse. Thanks for letting me vent.
