Having a flare. Happens the same way every time. Chills, can't get warm. Then fatigue that is unbelievable. Then pain in arms and legs. Coming back from San Francisco where we'd been for Christmas, our flight was cancelled out of O'Hare. If you've ever spent a night in an airport you'd know just HOW uncomfortable it is. Bright lights, noisy floor cleaners, loudspeakers, metal chairs. i was on standby and got on the 8:00 am flight out.
That's what's so frustrating about fibromyalgia. Stuff happens and you can't "pace yourself". It's getting harder to travel.

Oh no! So glad you are home now and hoping you make a quick recovery.

I agree about travel. I took a 2000 mile road trip in September... and even though the sights were spectacular and the hotels were first class, it was physically miserable.

I understand fully. I recently moved To Myrtle Beach SC from Ohio and the 11 hrs back and forth in the car is oh so painful. I do straighten back to normal pain after a few days. Then something like a cool or rainy spell sets in and its back to OUCHVILLE!!!! Fibro is like a jump rope up down up down, key is KEEP JUMPING.

Raining here in Illinois today and supposed to snow this weekend. I am sure feeling it already. Peaceful hugs to you all!
