I hear you, Ljm! It's stormy here with lots of snow and wind. No way would I venture out, unless I absolutely had to. But what a feeling of cabin fever and wanting to get outside and take some nice long walks. Not for a while, though!
But--I was just thinking I need to MOVE much more than I have been lately. The past few days have been an improvement, but much more work for me to do! I'm okay about doing some stretches, but should try to do more.
Your stationary bike sounds great. I should consider something like that. The only exercise 'equipment' I have is a cheap pedometer, but it does work. Needing to get more steps in my day, that's for sure.
So true--one small step at a time, and the good news is that it'll take you where you want to be, eventually, if you just hang in there.
Good job, Ljm. Onward and upward! :) Thanks for the inspiration. Hope you'll keep us posted on your success. It's helpful to hear how others are working for more flexibility, etc. and so worth it to find the right program that works. Way to go!
ETA: BTW, I'd have a problem with 'regular' bikes, due to cramping feet/legs. Is a stationary bike something that would be easier on the feet and legs? I'd guess you could set some settings or something, right?
