My drs..wife also has fibro, so he would maybe less likely to leave people hanging..
Never took opiates, they were recommended but since i am medication sensitive , i knew i would not be able to handle.
Noticed when they refilled tramadol.it said need dr authorization for refill..
I take very small doses but it helps keep the edge off.
I am a firm believer that we all need to take as little as we can, but when its a quality of life issue..the patient still needs help..whether its meds, PT , whatever..
More than my dr, i would worry about insurance companies pulling things..or a pharmacy thinking they get to decide.
So many of our people here have multiple issues they deal with, and i am hoping the medical community will be responsible, work things out to the good of the patient, case by case.
Leave it between the dr. And patient..
Just my opinion
