Sar, duloxetine is the generic for Cymbalta. This is an antidepressant that is used sometimes with fibromyalgia for pain. But, if it's not helping, you should go to you doctor and ask to try something else.
I had bad pain all over and it also kept me awake at night. But I was put on a muscle relaxer called Robaxin (methocarbamol) and that has made a significant difference in my pain. I also use ibuprofen with food and Tylenol. If you are low in vitamin D, you can have more pain and many of us are low. I take vitamin D3 daily and also magnesium malate which helps with pain.
I don't take Cymbalta, Lyrica, or Savella. These are regularly prescribed for fibro. Instead I decided to try over the counter things first, before going the prescription route, and they worked for me. The Robaxin is a prescription medication and is quite inexpensive. It's been around for decades. I was prescribed this back in the late 1970's for low back pain and it helped me then also.
I hope you get the help you need.
