A few weeks ago, I bought a box of rooibos tea at a local street fair. I'd never heard of this tea, but since I enjoy other teas, I thought I'd check it out.
I like it!
Not only that, it's said to have many health benefits: anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and reduces hyperactivity in the digestive tract (important for my IBS issues), prevents kidney stones, good for heart health, etc..
Of course, like anything, it can have side effects, as well. I read conflicting info, one which said it prevents kidney stones, and another which said drinking it could be bad for the kidneys(!) But, this is the Internet and you know how that goes... All things in moderation.
Anyway, I'm taking a break from my usual teas: mint, chamomile, green, and lemon balm, and trying something new. Enjoying it! I checked and both Puritan and Swanson carry this tea, in various flavors.
Hope everyone is doing well this week.
