we are at the hospital waiting for them to take hubbie into Surgery.
He got the call at 11:00 this morning that they have a donor.
We've been here since 1:30.
Pray, please, for a successful surgery.
More news as it comes.

we waited all night
They took him into surgery at 7 this morning
I am here alone and plenty scared.
He has got to survive this surgery!!!!!!

Hi La Bunna, I am so happy for you and your husband. I know it must be scary, especially being there alone. I will be praying that everything goes smoothly, and you have your husband back very soon.

I have not talked to you before but I just wanted to say I hope that everything is ok

maybe your hubbie is even out of surgery by now. I cant imagine having to set there alone but please know I am  thinking about you and your husband.

It means : If you are feeling bad for what ever reason. It's like the pit of despair. So I want to feel better .........I going to spit out the pit and eat the sweet cherry and feel better. How are you doing Connie? Hope your appointment today went well. Have a great evening.

He looks horrible, but has recognized me and squeezed my hand.

Wonderful news, La Bunna!  I'll bet when you see him tomorrow (or later today), you will notice that he has better color.  Here's hoping his new liver will make him "all better."

PG, I'm doing really well.  My eye exam went fine--no changes, so I can keep my current glasses for awhile.  Same contact Rx, but I have to have a new one every year.  Two boxes have been ordered, so I'll go back when those come in.  I also got a converter box for my (older) TV, to be ready for the digital age next Feb., since I don't have cable.  Just got off the phone after 2 1/2 hours with my NYC g.f.  She likes to talk late at night!   smilewinkgrin
