 hi all hope everyone is hanging in ,there does anyone have this awful tingling problem/ WHEN I TRY TO LAY DOWN AT NIGT IT FEELS LIKE JOLTS OF LIGHTNING GO thru my legs and arms it makes my whole body jump it is hard for me to sleep at night with out this problem since my liver has decided it likes confused nightime better to make me miserable  lol

Hello Joelene, Sorry about your legs now acting up. It sounds like Restless Leg Syndrome. RLS is very irritating. I get it once in a while, but I don't think that my husband ever got it.
I know that they have a drug for it but I don't know if people with liver problems should take it. My brain is mush tonight........I can not remember what the name is but it advertises on TV a lot.

Hope you are doing okay tonight.........Thoughts and prayers.........

Candlelight, I'm not PG, but I would advise you to definitely let the doctor know the symptoms you have recently experienced.  I do not believe they are liver related, but could be something that should be looked at more closely.

I have never experienced what you are describing with tingling, but I have experienced severe leg pain/cramps. According to my hep doc it can be part of the symptoms of my autoimmune hep. Also from reading on here it can be caused by low potassium. I agree that you should let your doctor know what is going just in case.

I have had the cramps but now i have this i have decided to tell dr. I just get so sick(lol pardon the pun) having something new wrong every time I turn around.
Still waiting on test results they seemed to have misplaced them

are u close to the storm my stepmother lives in lakeland fla. she said it is fine there although they have gotten alot of rain. I have never seen a tropicalstorm,tornado or hurricane I cant even begin to imagine what its like.
my stepmom wanted me to move to fla after my husband left she can forget that.I will stay in my cold snowy ny LOL

hi everyone

  forgot to tell what the dr said yesterday about tingling they think its from my lyme disease that i just got done w/ 4 weeks of treatmnt w/ amoxocillan they are think about 4 more weeks letting me know mon. Good news they have found the disc w/ my mri and catscan from 2 weeks ago will let me know on mon about that also

I know i am rattling on but my husband just was here to pick up his medicine i keep asking him to take it all w/him but he wont. Today he informed me that I have to get a job I said fine I will come to work at our resturaunt.He said what r u going to do there and i said wait on tables if i have to he laughed and said 1- I shake to much and 2- i would forget before I got to kitchen my order. I said steve I am on S.S for the last 3 years which means I can't work he said get a job at home that pays off the books. I know I should start divorce procedings but I dom't have the strength Its not like we dont have money but he said he dosent want to keep  "funding" me as he puts it. We have been together 30 years and until the 4 years I worked at our different bussinesses every day. I started crying and he left saying he dosent understand why i dont understand he has a life and its not his fault i am sick. Well enough feeling sorry for myself I think I will go make zucchini bread for my grandchildren at least I have them. Thank you to all who have taken the time to listen to me. I am sooo glad I found this site    joelene sad

Joelene, Your husband makes me so mad. I would like to give him a piece of my mind. You should start divorce proceedings and get what you are entitled too. Then you won't have to ask him for a thing. Feeling sorry for yourself is perfectly fine. That is why we are here, to listen.

You will be in my prayers.

Candlelight, I can't believe your hubby!  After 30 yrs., he treats you worse than a dog!  Honey, you deserve 1/2 of everything he has, and I wouldn't feel guilty about taking it!  You will need it!  I would start divorce proceedings ASAP.  Sorry, I don't mean to tell you what to do...but that really makes me mad!!  devil

I'm glad you got an answer as to the arm and leg sensations.  Let us know about the disk and if you will need surgery.

We got a heavy dose of Tropical Storm Fay here for the better part of 3 days.  Lots and lots of rain and wind, trees down and much flooding.  I'm in NE FL.  I haven't been out since Tues.!  Well, I did get to the mailbox yesterday during a break in the rain.  I'm hoping I can get out to the store by Mon.  My grocery supply is dwindling.

Connie is right. After thirty years you deserve 1/2 of everything. In most states that is the law. It wouldn't hurt to check into a good attorney. Most will give a free consultation. It is very common also in divorce that the other partner pay for the attorney's. It is something you should check into even if you decide not to do anything at this point. At least you will know your options.

I am glad you got an answer to your leg problem also. I know what you mean about being "sick and tired of being sick and tired". Seems there are weeks when it is always something new.

Glad you vented. It has always helped me to express my feelings here, where else do you come into contact with people that truly understand your frustrations.

Hi Joelene, My new grandbaby is doing fine. He is actually a boy though. He is so beautiful. I see him almost everyday. I also have a 14 month old grandson that I see a few times a week. He is so much fun. Grandchildren are so wonderful. Thanks for asking. I hope everything works out for you very soon.

Sorry i meant to say grandson I have 3 g.sons 15-8-2 what are your g.sons names? Mine are Zack-Devon-and the baby is Brady. How long has your husband been this sick? I am at the point where i have to drag myself to do things but I know from the last transplant once I stop Its almost impossible to get started again,and now this thing w/ my husband has really gotten me down makes me wonder why I try so hard. Hi Joelene,

Pardon my unsolicited advice. Please jump on the divorce path right away. All attorneys should give you an hour at no cost so that you can evaluate them and they can evaluate your situation. Evidently your husband wasn't paying attention during the 'for better or worse' and 'in sickness and in health' parts of the wedding vows. Since this a a family-rated forum, I can't use the words that I want to apply to him.

Hi Joelene, That's alright. I get mixed up also when I am posting. There are so many new members I really have to think when I am posting a reply. My 14 month old grandson is Evan and the new baby is Bradon. His nickname is Brady. What a coincidence! My husband was diagnosed with hep C in 1994 and cirrhosis in October 2006. He has had problems with fatigue and memory for a long time now. He says if he doesn't get 10 to 12 hours of sleep he is worthless. Some days the fatigue is worse than others. If he does anything physical he gets very fatigued. His main problem has been encephalopathy. That has been alot better lately. I'm hoping for it to last.

You hang in there Joelene. The reason you try so hard is for your children and grandchildren. They will always need you.
