Been a long time since I have posted. Really glad to see that John posted too.Take care of yourself John. Just haven't taken the time to read and or post and that reallly does upset me
Anyways, i have been feeling pretty good up until I came down with the flu this past weekend but I am actually thinking that it was a "flare up". I have monthly blood tests and they have been good. Saw my Hep Dr in January. She said she was very proud of me and that I was doing remarkably well
Reminder to you guys: Was dx with Hep C and ESLD, cirrhosis, brain fog, muscle wasting, severe muscle and joint pain etc etc back in Aug 2007 and was told I had about
6 months to live. I quit drinking 18 months ago and stopped smoking 8 months ago. Had TP eval last Aug and complied with all necessary tests etc. to be told that I wasn't a candidate yet...............
Anyways when I stopped smoking I substituted ice cream for my cigarettes and gained 20 lbs. I have been told to lose as much weight as possible by June and that they would like to try treatment. I have lost 9 lbs so far. Been walking 1-2 miles a day and working out to Richard Simmons sweatin to Disco at least once a week. I still have 2 boys, 16 and 18 at home. Lately been having some stressful times with them. Nothing drastic but........I have been very high strung for the past month also. Been seing a psych as requested and have more issues now than I thought I had. But this past weekend I just could not go no more. I got sooooooooooooooo tired and achy and miserable. Thought I might have the flu. Had an upset stomach also. But now that the upset stomach is gone I am still so achy and tired and exhausted and just want to stay in bed. I am afraid that if I start to rest too much, I won't want to get up. I have been stressing on getting tx because lately i have heard so much negativity.
What is all you guys' input?
Hope you all are doing OK
Karen
