Hello

Hello Everyone  I know it has been a long time since I have been on the forum.  I remember when I first started ==I think it was 2yrs ago.  I wanted to hear from someone that had received a transplant.  It just gave me more hope.  The "Mailman" was wonderful.  Then "LaBunna".  I still hear from her and her husband is doing supper!!  Jerry is still on the list at Vanderbilt.  His MELD is now a 22.  He has been at the top of the list for two weeks (Vanderbilt doesn't do many transplants)! Anyway I just wanted to catch you all up.  I broke my lap top on one of the hospital stays so I have been without.  I'm doing OK.  Every time I think I can't go on I just recharge those batteries as PG would say.   Also I have been taking Yoga classes and I am here to tell you it has been a life saver.  It helps so much.  I'm hoping I can be the one to tell you all about a transplant soon.  Also I sure could use a John FIX!!  Has anyone heard from him.  I think of him so often.  If you are out there John I say a prayer for you every day.  Shelly its good to see you are back and then there is Pink Gramma and hep 93.  You two have helped so many people.  I hope you both are well.  I will try and stay in touch and hopefully have some good news soon.

JoAnn I am so happy that you have posted. When regulars don't post for a while we get worried. I always keep telling myself that their computer is on the fritz. I am glad yours was. I will be praying that Jerry gets transplanted soon. Glad you found something that recharges your batteries.

I called John and left a message a while back........I try to call him again Friday morning. All of us are worried about him. Since your last post we have acquired a lot of new wonderful members.

Hang in there.........that light at the end of the tunnel........is getting brighter..........

OK Everyone

Today is my birthday and you all know what I am wishing for.  I started out the day sad because I'm officially no longer young!!!!!  Then I had this crazy idea that my daughter was going to surprise me and show up from Seattle with the grand kids.  I got so excited I baked not ONE but TWO birthday cakes!!  Then went to the store to get lots of food because they will all need to eat!  After I finally came back to reality I realized that she couldn't surprise me because we might get a call at any time and she would not have know if I was going to be home.  OH WELL--the thought made me happy for a few hours.  I now have lots of pork in the crock pot and TWO birthday cakes!!!  The other 8 grand kids will be here to enjoy the cake so it will be fun.  AND, maybe Jerry will get a liver on my birthday!!!  That would be the best birthday ever!!!  Would it be too much to ask for a few more prayers this after noon and tonight.  Thank you ALL
