Hi, Perception, and welcome to the forum. Have you been diagnosed with viral hepatitis? When they first started doing viral load with me, years after first being diagnosed in '93 with hep C, it was 38,000. Six weeks after transplant, it was 10 million. So I think it's possible to have chronic hep C with an undetectable viral load.
Regarding the pain you are describing, I recommend the Chronic Pain Forum on Healing Well. Hep would not cause this pain. I sometimes get headaches from a neck problem, but they are not debilitating as yours seem to be. I drink soy milk because it provides the protein I need post-transplant and I like the taste better than regular milk. I've had no problems from this, so I think avoiding soybean oil is a personal body chemistry issue with you and has nothing to do with hepatitis.
Hugs,
Connie
