Thanks for letting us know about
your biopsy. Do you know the results yet?
The Mayo radiologist did warn me in advance about
the sound...in fact he demonstrated it. Loud noise. He also went in very deep with the needle to numb me, so I didn't even feel the actual biopsy.
So far, it sounds like you don't yet have much damage, but the biopsy will tell the whole story.
They have a terrible time getting an IV in me. It usually takes several different people trying. For my regular blood work, I have 2 guys who can get one in. I always ask for one of them to do it. When I require a larger needle for an MRI or CT scan with contrast, someone from the PIC team has to locate a vein in my upper arm through imaging. It hurts like h---!
