He's gone....

After almost 15 years with the love of my life and best friend....he was gone in less than 60 seconds. Seven hours after my last post, he died. I'm shattered and I'm just...broken. Robert was an incredible person. He was the one who broke through all of my walls and allowed me to love again. He truly believed in me. He always loved me, even when I wasn't very lovable. He drove me nuts at times, but I would not trade a single moment of our life together. I just feel so totally alone....I want him back so bad. Omg, how do I DO ths??

I feared the worst when we didn't hear from you.

I know this is going to be really really hard.

He would want you to be strong.

Thank you. I never let myself believe for one minute, that he wouldn't make it. I just knew he would beat this demon disease. I had decided from the very beginning, that I was going to be totally positive. Well sometimes having complete belief or faith in something is a horrible mistake - because I was completely unprepared and I am beyond devastated. I faced his illness in this way because Robert tended to be really negative about things - 'glass half-empty' kind of guy - so I had to be the opposite. Rick, you posted a comment to me two hours before Robert died - I've read it several times - thank you so much, I'm sure I'll be reading it many more. I'll write again later...

You can know he knows how very much you loved him, and you know how very much he loved you and the children May the Lord wrap His arms around you and give you His comfort.
