Good morning iplaycarvin. I will probably be calling the dr. Today to see what medicine I can take to clear up this congestion I have now. I know somebody posted a chart that you check on what others meds are ok to take with the sovaldi and riba, but I can't find it. If anyone knows, can you please share it again? Thank you. I haven't had any headaches or really any other side effects, which is wonderful. It just seems too good to be true. There was no blood work this week. I have blood work scheduled for next week Monday and then it will be time to see the doc. This will probably be the only time I say I'm looking forward to going to the dr's office lol. I'm on week 4 and Friday will be 1 month down with 2 more to go. Ya! Have a great day everyone and I hope to kick this cold outta my body.

Hi Steffie, glad to hear everything has been going well for you so far and I just wanted you to know I had some of the very same side effects as you and at times I felt yucky and not well but you know what? I'm now down to just 15 days left! The end is near and soon it will be for you also and I look forward to hearing your results.

I see alot of patients using Benadryl for congestion. The only real interactions I found are some anti-seizure meds, and St. Johns Wort. Was wondering what your hemoglobin dropped to, if any. I think my hemoglobin levels are already going back up. My trial charts show a marked HGB improvement during week 5 through 7 for type 2b patients. We are both about to start week 5. Maybe your blah stuffy feeling will be very short lived. Hang in there!!!

Ok I'm back and I'm finally just getting over that cold/allergy thing I had going on. I ended up taking Musinex D to clear the congestion up. I feel great. I went to the gym and did a group fitness class, which I made it all the way through. Monday was my 3rd set of blood tests and this one is checking the viral load. I am super excited to find out what's been going on in my body, but unfortunately I will probably have to wait until May 5th when I go for my first dr visit. The suspense is killing me. I want to know now lol. That is all I have for now. I will check in later. Wishing everyone well.

Ok so here is my update. Great news from the doc Monday. I am undetectable! My white blood count was down a little bit but nothing to be concerned about. No side effects, headaches are gone, I work out after a full day at work, take my pills as directed and go about my daily life. It all seems too good to be true. I am hoping it remains like this and after tomorrow I will be on week 8. Smooth sailing so far and I wish everyone could be as lucky as I have been. I had tears of joy after I got the news. CONGRATS ON UNDETECTABLE! I have to wait till the very end of treatment to get my viral load done, but my Doc says maintaining my excellent Metabolic Panel the past few weeks is evidence the treatment is working very well. I am very impressed at how much better my skin looks, and feels. I'm not having any sides at all at week 8.

Have a great day and keep moving forward! We are close to the end!!
