He's at home on hospice

Sorry Cat. The catheter pretty much indicates his time is short. Spend as much time as you can with him and comfort him. My thoughts will be with you both. I just lost a friend and co-worker Sunday. He was 45. So sad but yet I know he is far better off where ever he may be now.

Cat...through this whole thing I have been really impressed by how much you love your brother and have tried to help him. Even now, the balance you have achieved between his grave condition and your respect for his wishes shine through. I hope his time with you is gently spent...there isn't much else to do. Hey Cat. Just wanted to ditto what Ziff said - spend as much time with your brother as you can. Tell him everything you've ever wanted to tell him. You are a wonderful sister and you two are incredibly lucky to have each other. My heart truly aches for you....I know your pain. Just cherish every moment, make your brother smile and laugh, talk about silly stuff and happy memories. He obviously knows he's loved very much. And Hospice will do everything they can to help the rest of this journey be just a bit easier. You're in my thoughts.....

Thank you all! Today we talked with a social worker from hospice with my brother about his wishes for services and funeral. Unfortuneatly my family, not prepared for this so soon, does not have the money for what he'd like. 2 days ago I started on oune fund donation account for him to help with things like this. I am speechless at the outpouring of kind words and donations made thus far !!!! We have gotten over $4,000 in donations!! I am SO hoping we will get enough to honor his wishes!!

That is a real outpouring of love in hard times like this. I hope you guys make your goal for his wishes.
