The scoop on poop

Hello boardies,

Been a long time since I've wandered in these parts... I hope everyone is doing well.

I have a question for those still enduring a broken liver - or remember what it was like - Have you ever had green poop? Most info on the web is directed at those with healthy livers, and describes intestinal motility to be the culprit. In particular green bile passing too fast to the lower intestine.

However like most of you I have bile issues, namely not much ever makes it to the lower intestine and my bowel movements are "normally" white. Docs just say its usual in liver disease and not to worry. Green, however, is a new one. I will call my doc tomorrow, but thought someone might have been down this road before and could share with me what they learned.

Hi, only exp with the green and it was bright green, was from eating certain green "colored" foods. this was my dtr years ago, and she has no liver problems.
