Hi Plant, nice to hear from you. Themister also worked his first treatment (interferon/riba), a physical job. Worked and crashed :)
Themister is pretty good. "Stable"....but you know stable in this ESLD (end stage liver disease) place we reside is nothing like "healthy" or "normal". For you, and those like you who are treating....know that the lousy fatigue and general icky stuff of treatment is nothing compared to ESLD. Now magnify it and add other really awful symptoms that rob you of your personality and dignity, and ability to care for your self reliably. Then do that for a few years while hoping you get sicker to get a transplant, but not too sick to survive that intense surgery. That is ESLD.
You persistent folks who will avoid this by killing that wicked virus are on my heart. No matter how many times you need to treat, suffer some sides, and manage through...know that you are doing the very best thing for YOU! For your future. And for those who love you.
Keep in touch. So much good news is happening in the Hep C world. Getting rid of this virus world wide is something I hope I live to witness. Big Hugs
