HEP-C TX causing neck & shoulder muscle pain

Any suggestions on relief of shoulder & neck muscle pain. I am Geno 1/ chronic 47 yr old male on Tx for the second time. I already went through 48 week with Pegasys & Ribavarin combo therapy. HCV became undetectable but 6 month blood work follow up showed detectable at low levels. Hep Doctor has placed me on Peg-Intron and Ribavarin combo this time and I am in 3rd week. Doc wants to see if I respond after 12 weeks. If I do, then Hep C Doctor is considering switching me to Infergen. I feel like a guinea pig. The only relief that I get is when I swim laps.

Moist heat and Motrin or Advil are probably best.  Gentle massage is helpful, too.

i got something called biofreeze for my arms when goin through carpal tunnel,a topical cream,,,,,,worked great for me,,,,could not take any other meds at time cause i was tryin to get over a bad case of acute hep b,,,,it was a tx btw

Thank you for your input. I would also ask for prayer for encouragement. The meds and the pain can be frustrating sometime.
My wife has been great and my kids and church also.
I will try the motrin. I had benn using Naproxin Sodiem. I am starting Nupigen injections twice a week starting Tuesday to help bring my white blood cell count up from 2 to somewhere between 4-11. The TX is lowering my white cell count.

Aquaman, I also developed leukopenia (low white count) while under treatment,
which caused me to be taken off treatment after adjustments of dosage did not
work.

My prayers are with you for strength to endure the hard times.
