Hello everyone,

Well I got thru my daughters grad party, the weather was great, and she had a great turn-out.  So happy that's done....My sisters helped me so much.  I had the party on Sunday 1.5 days after my shot....I was beat.  Where I over did it was looking for a house at the same time.  Jeff found this house in the country and wanted to move bad.  I kept telling him the timing was wrong, but for some reason he didn't get it...We ended up getting the house but ran into all kinds of problems (mostly bank problems and it was all on me because he has his own thing going on with his shop.  (Not a real job)! Well ya know money here and ther..... I was so exhausted and stressed from the house stuff and the party and could'nt even think of selling mine. Plus I'm on treatments. And this house sale was by owner, so it was a lot of findings on our own thank god my sister is a realator, she saw how I was and ended everything and getting me out of a mess I was in.  Yes, jeff is mad but I have to think of my health.  What if it turns around (my health) and we can loose everything!!!!!!! I only have 5 more shots.

  glad the party went well but sorry ya over did yaself....one thing ive learned from all the problems with health ,,,,it can pull the rug right out from under ya financially on top of mentally,,,,,so maybe lookin for a house right now is not a good idea,until ya know a bit more about what ya up against and if ya treatments will truely end in 5 more,,,ricks was only supposed to be 6 mths but now theyve extended it another 6 mths,so ya just never know..hope all goes well for ya and make sure to take care of yaself :)

Hi, Eileen! I posted for you yesterday, but the post disappeared in cyberspace. I was so ticked off, I didn't feel like writing it over. At any rate, here I am again. I am sorry you have been so overwhelmed and stressed. That is certainly not the time to make major decisions. Breathe deeply, get some rest, get centered, and take it one day at a time.

Trish why did they extend his treatment another 6 months??

his viral load had not gone down at all after havin been on treatment for 6 mths already,,,,but keep in mind rick has hep b,not c,,,,,,no cure just hope to get it under control...take it easy eileen :hugs:

Hi everyone,

Well I have 1 more shot of pegatron and 1 more week of rib-a-pak.  I've done 24 shots and now I wait for 6 months to see if this really worked....I sure hope so.  I lost 30 lbs and I hope I can keep it off....Hopefully I can start to exercise again.  I lost that 4 months into the meds.  I was to weak to exercise.

Well going to Myrtle Beach for a week and trying to stay cool by the ocean....Its been 102 and 104 here in OH......My doc told me to stay out of the sun when on the meds.. nono

What is bothering me is the humidity.......

My prayers is with everyone.

Congrats, Eileen! Wear plenty of sunscreen and use an umbrella! Watch out for tropical storms and hurricanes! It's starting already!

Eileen, So glad to here you are on your last shot!!! I will keep the prayers going that it works!! Myrtle Beach does sound like a great place to stay cool. Have Fun!!
