I would interpret that as meaning "most likely."
It's always better to know what you are faced with, in my opinion, in order to treat it.
No, I don't have NASH--I have chronic active hepatitis C, which led to liver cancer. I had the entire right lobe of my liver removed in May, and am now cancer free. I still have hep C, but if I'm eligible for treatment, it would not be for 6 mos., when I've healed from the surgery. I do have mild cirrhosis in what is left of my liver. However, there are some posters here with NASH.
