Connie my blood pressure crashed

I was in hosp. had to have a fasting blood work and had med. injected for test, long story short ,I had a reaction to the med and I passed out my blood pressure bottomed out, they gave me 2 or 3 mg. epinephrine called an ambulance to transport me to hospital.

I'm ok,but I have a DR. appointment and then work. I will get back to you.

 I'm feeling better but not 100% yet. I had to stop my diuretics due to my pressure so of course I put on about 6 lbs. of fluid. My feet and legs are really bothering me today from the edema, but thank goodness the Dr. said I can start taking my aldactone and lasix tomorrow.

The med. they injected me with was called cosyntropin, it's used when a greater cortisal stimulation is needed to help diagnose adrenal insufficiency. Basicly the endocrinologist was checking all possibilities of diabetes/hypoglycemia. Personally I feel my sugar is dropping so low due to my liver. I will ask my hepatologist about this at my next appointment  in Nov. I wish his office was closer to me but its a 2 hour drive and since I can't drive that far I only go to him when he wants to see me. I get all labs and test done at the local hospital  that he orders. Unfortunately The Drs. and hospitals by me arent that great.
