so my uncle got this thing for my moms ashes but it is not even designed for ashes. it is made out of cobblestone but i think i am gonna buy one designed for ashes as i found one that i really like. it's not extremely expensive, $76 but it is absolutely beautiful. what do you think?

I think it's beautiful!!!  I think getting something made for ashes is the right way to go so you know they are safely preserved.  Your mom would definitely be happy with your choice.

thanks it means so much. it is silver and gold and will have her name and date of birth and death engraved.

hep i bought it and it should be here next week or right before christmas. my mom should be home by christmas which makes me happy. maybe with some of her ashes with me i wont feel so empty

i want to personally thank you for all your help, and everyone elses but hep i feel a closeness with you. i also feel the same with allie(as she is in a similar predicament that i was in) and timeless to. i hope that i am welcome here always and your approval means a lot to me.

May I ask where you found that? I would like to have that in my file to suggest to people.

Also, those of us who are stewards to the cremains of loved ones need to remember in our will what should be done with them after we die.

my urn is here. i ordered it thursday and it is here already. it was quick and it is perfect. i am so excited that i cant wait to get mom in

Wow, that is neat. Very pretty. I never knew something like that exists. I haven even got a glue what I am going to do with my husband when he passes. I keep telling myself to make a file folder of all that suff so I can just grap it when needed so I am not going so crazy trying to get it together. I don't want to up set our 3 boys. They are 16, 12, and 8, but the 8 year old is slow kindergarden level.  I know I will miss him so much as well our son's. Thanks for the ideas on how to make it easier to miss someone close to our hearts.
