I have posted her just a little bit. I have been reading here for almost 2 years. My husband lost his battle with ESLD/Hep C almost 4 weeks ago. We were with Hospice, as he was just so sick, and not getting the call for surgery--they wanted him to go and live in a Nursing Home and wait for the call. His MELD was low, and he refused and went with Hospice. He was a wonderful man. He was sick for 2 years--the first year I researched how to keep him alive and cried at night--the second year, he got very sick and was in and out of hospitals and battled high ammonia levels and I just tried to keep my head above water. I keep coming here and reading--it's a habit now. I am trying to change my routines a bit to make myself less sad. This is a great place for information. Even though you haven't known me as a "regular", I have survived this journey with lots of information I got here! Good night and thank you. To my sweet husband, I see your story in so many of these pages--I wish things could have been different for you.
