Hi Forum,
I am Sohan. I recently did a ultrasonography of whole abdomen becouse of hepetites B and result said that there is an echotexture in Liver. My doctor suggested me to do the ultrasonography again to verify the same, I again did the same and result said that there is no echotexture in liver and everything is normal. I am worried because what if there is an echotexture. I don't know what to do now because both result are contradictory, should i go for retest again or not, Please suggest.
Also want to know, doing ultrasonography of liver again and again is safe or its harmful? Please help me with the answers i realy want to know whether doing the ultrasonography of liver again and again is safe or not. Please help
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Sohan

Ultrasonography is safe. It involves sound waves, not radiation. Have the 3rd one to get a decisive result. Even CT or x-ray is relatively safe because of the small amount of radium used in these tests.
