I'm a 7 year liver transplt recipient and I've decided I'd like to join a "chat support" group. Hard to find people where I live to communicate with about living with a transplt. I'm glad to be here and I hope this will be a good move for me. Between hep c, transplanted, resergance of hep c and "battles there-in", dealing with depression and all that entails...I'm still here!!! U B WELL !!

I rec'd my transplt at Shands USF (University of Florida) Gainesville. Great hospital!!! Operation and followup...excellent. I sure hope your doing well. Seems like such a long time between then and now. After about a year of recoup, I it's mostly went pretty well. I think one of the biggest hurtles for me understanding how to live and appreciate life and to take care of myself. Thats a chore in itself!!

Hi, Still Here! Welcome to the forum! We actually don't have many members who have already had transplants, so it's good to have you aboard. Have you gotten past the depression?

So far, everything's been great. My Hep C is still here, but aside from a tiny hernia in the incision recovery is mostly there. I've been working (I'm a tile and stone setter) since 6 months after the transplant. PM me, there's something I'd like to talk about, in private. **David**

Hello still here, and a big welcome to HealingWell. I just notice your reply on the New member thread. I see that you figured out how to start a new post and reply. The only thing that I could add is when you start a new post to give it a title. So that more members read it and reply to your post. If you go into your post and hit the edit button you can give it any title that you want. If you like I can do it for you. Just let me know.

We are extremely glad to have another post transplant member. I believe you make number 3 of the actually member having had the liver transplant. And I love your screen name. And also glad that you are "still here". :-) Thoughts and prayers........
