CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME about THE ENDING SYMPTOMS OF THE ENDING STAGES OF LIVER DISEASE. MY HUSBAND IS ALREADY EXPERIENCING THE LOSS OF APPETITE, JAUNDICE, TROUBLE URINATING. VOMITING, EXCESSIVE SLEEP, & AGITATION. WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO HAPPEN NEXT AND IS THERE ANY WAY TO COMFORT HIM? THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

Hello Wifie and welcome to HealingWell. Sorry that you had the need to be here but are glad you found us.
In the Hepatitis Resource folder at the top of our forum we have an educational thread that has lot's of information in it. You'll find probably most the answers to your questions there.
That being said , liver disease is very individualist. Everyone's journey is a little different. There are lot's the treatments to ease the journey but he has to follow his doctors orders and hopefully that doctor is a hepatologist. They are the experts on liver disease.

Diet plays a big part in his health. Most have to go on a low sodium, a fluid restriction and some a low protein. His doctor should be telling you both what he should be taking,eating and drinking.

has your husband seen a doctor?? it would be important to have a doctor tell you where he is in the process...and read and read and read... Sandi
