Just thinking out loud.....

I just wanted to say it's so nice knowing that I can come here and post when I don't have anybody here to talk to...I'm sitting here in the living room with the TV on watching some western alone. One that he wanted to see, but he has since fallen asleep in his recliner. As far as I know he had only one drink tonight, compared to the 2 or 3 he would normally have, and he is out. He is still having the diarrhea...I offered everything in the house including the BRAT diet but he says he's just not hungry. He finally ate a tiny bowl of beans and a tiny piece of cornbread. He thinks the diarrhea is caused by something he ate! How, when you are not eating! All part of the denial.....So sad...He is weak and has no energy, but that's because of the diarrhea, because of what he ate...On and on and on........I hate this illness and for those of you that are reading that have this illness, I feel for you. It has such a hold on you that you can't see it. If you are one of the luckier ones that is strong enough to get away from it, then you can look back and thankfully say that you got away from the demon. One minute I try to be strong, tough, and be realistic, and the next minute I'm bawling my eyes out.......I do believe this though and I stand by this....God has a reason for everything that happens. We may not understand it, and we may not agree with it, nonetheless we have to accept it with the hope that something good will come out of it. If nothing else, maybe it will be the impact that it will have on someone else, or maybe that it will create more forums like this that will bring peace, hope, and support to others...
