round one to me!

 hi all!, hope you are all having a good day?,

 received a letter in the post this morning, it would seem they have got sick of my moaning and sent my hubby an earlier appointment for the specialist!!. they have moved it from 26th august to 16th june, so a lot closer than it was originally, i am in a fighting mood this week it would seem, and i also sent a rather curt letter of reply to the people that claimed hubby was not "ill enough" to qualify for financial help. i cant fight his demons or his battle for him but i can try to make the rest a little easier. im very happy they have given him an earlier appointment, maybe we will finally start getting some answers as to the exact state of his health. xxnatasha.xx

Natasha, you go, girl!!  Good on getting a (much) sooner appt.  I'm going to make some phone calls myself tomorrow, as I still haven't gotten an appt. for chemoebolization.  Mayo usually works faster than that!

thank you once again for all youre words of encouragement! im sure as soon as you get on that phone connie, you will have your appointment a.s.a.p, i certainly would not mess around with you! i went on mayo website the other day, stumbled across it when i was looking into what tests should be done on hubby so i can put it to the docs and i sure wish i was dealing with them and not the n.h.s.! oh well, i have chalked one up in my battle now and long shall i continue untill i know exactly what im dealing with.
large stomach aside, these last three days, you would never know that there is anything wrong with hubby as he has seemed on top of the world! its a strange disease this one, two weeks agoi was convinced he was not going to last much longer as the symptoms seemed to just hit him one after the other, yet now, he is up and about and even took the dog for a walk yesterday!. although i am aware that sinister things are happening quietly on the inside still, he thinks he is cured! he is very much sticking his head in the sand but then thats what addicts do isnt it.
